EPoS Till Software Case Study #1

The Spitfire and Hurricaine museum at Manston Airport, Ramsgate required a simple till system, that would link into a Sage Line 50 programme. They had no accounting package and all the accounting , till cashing up, was being undertaken manually, and with no asset or stock control.

The featues of the system had to be

• Full Stock Control
• Some Items to be sold did not have barcodes or were two small to be bar coded.
• Ease of use at the Till for voluteers(upto 85 years old!) to process till transactions
• Charity enable Accounting System
• Simple way of recording assets, ie, a Spitfire Plane!

The solution was the Sage Line 50, with Sage Payoint attached with a bar code scanner and touchscreen.
